DOCUMENTING THE BRAVEST 11 YEAR OLD

Fanatic is a historic water spots brand hailed as being one of the top of the class in terms of quality and performance of equipment across all the different water sports that they make products for. Naturally, Fanatic wanted to show this off by showcasing some of their amazing multi-sport talent that they have on their team. In water sports, a "Waterman" is someone who is advanced in several different categories of water sports. And for this project, I was given the opportunity to highlight Fanatic's youngest talent, Bobo Gallagher.

Challenged with capturing Bobo's huge personality and ALL of his different talents in 4 days was definitely a challenge. Long day shoots as well as constant driving back and forth around the island mixed in with balancing the needs of an 11 year old and his family, people management was definitely the most difficult thing in this project. We made this much simpler by creating a group chat with every individual involved and synced calendars to ensure that people had time slots available when we were requesting. This was by far one of the best skills I could have learned from this experience and I am sure thankful I did.

In the end the project was a complete success. After wrapping the 4 days of filming, we got the edit done within 1 week and the first version was checked off by Fanatic with them saying:
